Commerical
State-funded schools – amounting to a maximum of £2,500 per socket and available until 31 March 2025 there has never been a better time to re-invest in your school and community.
Workplaces – your organisation could receive up to 75% of the full EV chargepoint purchase and installation (inclusive of VAT). This voucher-based scheme is limited to £350 per socket and a maximum of 40 sockets allocated to any workplace site.
Commercial Landlords – Commercial landlords can apply for up to 100 grants per year. The EV chargepoint grant is limited to £350 or 75% of the cost of purchasing and installing a socket (whichever is the lower amount). Each application may apply to multiple or single properties.
Fleets & Staff – Small and medium sized businesses can receive up to 5 grants totalling £75,000 towards the cost of installing EV infrastructure and chargepoints for use by staff or company fleets.
Residential
Residential Car Parks – The EV infrastructure grant for residential car parks supports both EV charging infrastructure as well as providing money towards installing the chargepoints. This is specifically designed to help organisations and businesses who lease, rent or manage residential properties. One grant per building is permitted with a maximum grant value of £30,000. The EV grant for landlords can be used in addition to this grant if further chargepoints are required.
Flat Owners & Tenants – Flat owners or Tenants can apply for a single grant of £350 or up to 75% off the purchase and installation cost of a chargepoint socket (whichever is the lower amount).
Residential & Mixed-Use Landlords – Residential landlords may be eligible for up to 200 grants per year, whilst commercial landlords can apply for up to 100 grants. For mixed-use properties, the number of grants the landlord can apply for will depend on whether they will be used by the commercial or residential tenants at each site. The EV chargepoint grant is limited to £350 or 75% of the cost of purchasing and installing a socket (whichever is the lower amount). Each application may apply to multiple or single properties.
